CNC Turning Services for Custom Parts

CNC Turning is a precision machining process that rotates a workpiece while cutting tools shape it into custom cylindrical parts. It delivers high accuracy, efficiency and consistency for shafts, sleeves, pins and other turned components in various materials.

CNC Turning Processes

CNC turning is a precision machining process where the workpiece rotates while cutting tools remove material to create cylindrical parts. It is widely used for producing shafts, sleeves, pins, nuts, and complex turned components with tight tolerances.

CNC Turning Design Guidelines and Capabilities

Our standard machining tolerance is ±0.002 inch (0.05 mm), and local precision can reach ±0.0004 inch (0.01 mm). Depending on the material being processed, these tolerances comply with the medium or fine grades of ISO-2768-1. It is recommended that the diameter of part features be greater than 0.020 inch (0.51mm), and the nominal diameter of the part be greater than 0.040 inch (1.02 mm).
